Florida Vacation
« on: June 18, 2018, 01:05:06 PM »
Just got back from a wonderful vacation in Florida. This is my 3rd time vacationing in Florida, the two times in the past we went to clear water. This time a friend recommended visiting the pan handle. We rented a house in Santa Rosa Beach. SRB is between Panama City and Destin. I have to say, this was probably THE most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The beaches here are nicer than at clear water IMO. Super white and super fine sand - incredibly clear water and perfect temperature. And unlike clear water, you can walk for miles in either direction. We went to the beach every day (sometimes more than once) and we've never had issues with finding parking and it was free too! That also meant there wasn't a lot of people beaching - because I dislike crowded beaches. These beaches are commonly known as South Walton Beaches as they are all in Walton County.

The house we rented had access to a wonderful community pool. Many time we were the only people taking advantage of it.

We had a few days of crummy and rainy weather, but typically found a few hours to enjoy the beach anyway.

Sea food restaurants in the area were awesome too. Below are our top three in that order

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Suh weet.  The beach looks like good exploring.
