So I emailed the trainers and they responded that they thought it was too little.  Before making any changes I'm going to spend a few days being more exacting in my measurements.  Maybe it is the engineer in me but I can't see making any changes before knowing if the data is right.  Maybe that day wasn't as typical as I thought.

BTW would I be too big of a geek if I rolled my own site for the tracking part?  You can download the USDA DB from http://www.ars.usda.gov/Services/docs.htm?docid=22113 so I wouldn't need to do a search.

yesterday i made a bigass batch of brown rice, chorizo, hamburger, and tomatoes with various spices.  This, salad, and yogurt will be my lunch fo the forseeable future for work days.  i will fill yall in if anything changes
