Almost bought one myself.  They are really nice laptops/tablets.  Powerful, very slim.  Screen isn't huge but you could always connect it to monitors.

They seem nice, especially if portability and weight is a concern. I feel like for the price you could better spec'd laptop, like a Dell XPS-15.

I almost went for a SurfaceBook Pro, they seemed pretty nice. Ended up with a macbook again though.

My wife got an Asus laptop but I also got her an iPad pro for the actual drawing stuff.  And it's pretty damn amazing for that by the way.  But not everyone wants to buy 2 things.  The iPad apps are more than likely superior though.

Got one for the wife.  She totally digs it.  Great device.  Amazing display and the keyboard cover is nice.  Dell makes a "Surface" too.  Uses a pen also.  Found this.

I use a Samsung tablet with the S Pen and use it for notes and technical drawing all the time.  It has literally replaced my Asus laptop.  Thing is amazing!

I typically avoid cutting edge at release.  Seems wiser to wait a few months to watch reliability, launch SNAFUs and the like.  This goes for just about anything really.  Cars most.
